Turkish Student Association

As the Event Coordinator of the Turkish Student Association at Michigan State University, I have been actively involved in strengthening cultural bonds and promoting diversity within the international student community. My main responsibilities include: Collaborating with the executive board to plan and execute events that celebrate Turkish heritage and bring the community together. Partnering with student groups like the Balkan Student Association to encourage intercultural dialogue and organize joint activities that highlight our shared values and traditions. Hosting cultural workshops, networking events, and social gatherings aimed at fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for international students. This experience has not only enhanced my leadership and organizational skills but also deepened my appreciation for multicultural collaboration. Being part of a vibrant, cross-cultural network has given me the opportunity to create meaningful connections and contribute to the global student experience on campus.
